See your disk. Clean with confidence.

Deckhand is a native Mac utility for finding what is using space, clearing junk, uninstalling apps with their leftovers, and checking which processes hold your ports. Nothing is deleted until you review it.

Signed and notarized DMG · about 2.9 MB · drag Deckhand to Applications.

The app

One window for the whole disk.

Deckhand stays on your Mac. Scans, process lists, and the audit log never leave the machine.

Disk Analyzer

Scan a volume or any folder. Blocks sizes every folder by how much space it takes. The list beside it names each block, so the largest thing on disk is obvious before you open it.

Or as a pie

Switch to Pie for the same scan as rings. Click a slice to go deeper, or switch to List when you want the files in order.

Smart Clean

Caches, logs, and developer leftovers are listed by category, and nothing is selected until you choose it. Expand a category to keep what you still need. Cleaning moves the selection to the Trash.

Uninstaller

See installed apps with their size, whether they are running, and the bundle id. Uninstall reviews the app together with its caches, preferences, and leftovers before anything moves.

Processes

Every process on this Mac, with CPU and memory. Search by name, PID, or user, and sort by what is using the machine. Protected system processes cannot be stopped.

  1. Download the DMG and open it.
